2. The Expanding Your Influence program (18-20 August in Brisbane) is filling fast! This ATEM flagship program has been a stepping stone for many years for middle managers who aspire to master contemporary people issues in their workplace. The course covers the knowledge and skills to understand and influence the processes of change affecting workplaces in Australia - the essential big picture, insight into leadership styles and culture in your organisation, how to identify your strengths and weaknesses in different styles of leadership, how to connect to and support individual staff members or teams where productivity or morale has dropped due to incessant change in the workplace, and the skills to develop influential presentations and reports to reach and influence your audience. 4. The Melbourne TEM Conference is roaring ahead. Last year’s record for sponsorship has already been broken and we also look like breaking the 2004 Hobart record for the biggest attendance.
