Not all regions hold region Conferences every year. When a region chooses to organise a regional conference the details will be shown here.
2009 Conference Waiariki Institute of Technology, Rotorua, "Tertiary Management as a Career"

This year the organising committee is not setting streams but we would ask presenters to be very flexible and innovative in thinking about the way you would like to present your topic. Some suggestions for topics are: Preparing yourself for promotion; Professional Development Opportunities; Succession Planning; Moving up in the Organisation. Presentations can be in the form of workshops; posters; research papers; discussion groups – these are just some suggestions.
Abstracts are to be submitted electronically and presented in the following format:
- Contact details for person submitting abstract (Name, Institution, Position)
- Title of presentation
- Style of presentation (e.g. workshop, discussion group, poster, etc)
- Abstract in text format, Arial font 11pt, and no more than 250 words
- Abstracts to be forwarded to terry.fulljames@boppoly.ac.nz no later than Friday 17 April 2009
- Presenters will be advised by 1 May whether or not their paper has been accepted.
- For presenters who wish their papers to be included in the conference proceedings on the ATEM website must have their full paper available by the conference start date, 9 July 2009. It must be submitted in electronic format using Arial 11pt. Any presentations received after the start date of the conference will not be included in the conference proceedings.
