The 'Cutting through complicated issues - applying the ARIES framework for diagnosis and action' program is a highly interactive, practically-oriented 2-day workshop designed to help participants develop their capacity for leadership and intervening productively with contentious – messy – issues, to bring about desired change.

These issues, often with strongly-felt emotions involved, can be to do with such diverse things as: group or individual performance matters, apparent resistance, stuck change efforts and teamwork / partnering difficulties.

Participants will gain a conceptual framework and learn to apply a set of practical tools, ARIES (Attending, Reflecting, Inquiring, Expressing and Synthesising) for making sense of, working through and advancing change with virtually any contentious issue with a leadership and change component.

Participant feedbacks from the equivalent ATEM program in 2011:

“I found the program extremely useful. The opportunity to focus on “real” workplace issues and practice the application of a different approach was a valuable way to spend two days.”

“I enjoyed the whole program. The concept of mindfulness and tools to apply in contentious situations was extremely useful.”
